Evergreens tend to derive their ornamental flavor from unique shapes or sizes. 

Evergreens offer year round color and appear about the same color in deep winter or in summer. Evergreens are versatile and can be used as specimens, hedges, privacy screens or as back drop to the more flashy ornamental trees.
